Wow! I didn't know it could get this cold in Texas -- very cool if you're a Bernese Mountain dog. I had a very fun day running around outside and pretending I was in Switzerland -- oh wait, I've never been to Switzerland, that was Oklahoma!
My Mom and Dad are getting very good at putting food up really high. Apparently they didn't appreciate me helping myself to all those goodies a few days ago. There are a few remaining Round Rock donuts on top of the refrigerator (purchased for my cousins who were visiting.) I wonder if I can scale that sucker!!! I've never climbed a refrigerator! Hmmmm. . .
This has been a good day. Mom and Dad were both home all day at their desks so I had lots of company while I took my naps. I heard talk of meetings tomorrow so it will give me time to scope out the kitchen!
I forgot to mention the other day the discussion about selecting a name for me. I bet you wonder why they named me Luci. Well, my Mom has this friend Lucie and she loves all dogs because they breathe! Mom wanted to name me Bernice but everyone looked at her like she was nuts so she made it my middle name. Aunt Lucie's full name is Ada Lucille, so I'm now known as Lucille Bernice. I'm glad they call me Luci. The girls on the cruise told Aunt Lucie that when she adopts a dog this spring she needs to name her "Patti" or "Patrick." We'll see!
That's about all the news from the castle (don't all Queens live in castles?) I hope you're enjoying my tales. (Tee Hee Hee - get it???)
Ta Ta for now!
Luci the Queen!
